Social Skills Group
Our Social Skills Group is ideal for children who are enrolled in a traditional classroom setting for the majority of their day. These children attend group sessions twice per week, for two hour sessions, and work on a variety of appropriate play skills and peer interactions. Social skills are an important factor to ensure success academically, as well as enhancing the ability to form lasting social relationships. We practice these skills in a variety of situations that would be similar to what the children encounter at school and in the community. Additionally, we target compliance with homework routines, which is a common challenge for children of all ages!
